Sometimes the seller may ship your purchase in too large a box. We provide a value-add service to re-pack it into a smaller box and you will save on shipping charges.
If your package is suitable for repack, you will see a repack option in your orders account. We charge a nominal re-packing fee but the savings in shipping will offset that. (for packages with a repack weight of more than 20kg, additional fees may apply)
Our processing team reviews all packages at time of receipt to determine re-packing option on a best effort basis
FAQ
When is re-packing not practical?
When the difference of the actual weight and the volumetric weight is not significant.
The bulky packaging is required to protect your purchase during shipping.
Why is there a difference in re-packed weight for the same items?
We use the most suitable boxes to re-pack your purchases. Availability of suitable boxes may result in these differences, which is beyond our control.
Can you re-pack multiple purchases into one box?
We have discontinued this re-packing option as we have found the resultant savings to be less than shipping the multiple packages as a consolidation.
You can consolidate several orders and ship them together. This saves you money on the cost of the base charge.

Important tip: You may be liable to import taxes if you consolidate your orders. Many countries limit the amount you can import for personal consumption. So, if the total value of your goods in one shipment is above the legal level you’ll have to pay extra taxes. To check what your limit is visit your customs and excise authority’s website.
Fragile Items
Fragile Items
The following items are usually fragile and subject to crating
Big/flat screen TVs
Chandeliers
Large porcelain/glass figurines
Mirrors
Crating ensures fragile items with insufficient protection arrive safely at their international
destination.
When an item is flagged for crating at their U.S. Address, a customer has the following options;
Ship the parcel as it is. When a shipment is flagged as insufficiently protected, insurance will
only cover lost or missing items, not for damages and breakages.
Crate the package. Crating will ensure that contents are not damaged during delivery and the
package will be insured.
Crating fees will be determined on an individual basis and customers will be notified of crating
details when their shipments arrive at their U.S. Address.
Please note that crating will also affect shipping rate as dimensions will change. Rates will be
determined by volumetric or actual weight, whatever is higher.
Below is an example of estimation of crating a 52” LED TV:
Cost for crating: USD$250.00
Original package chargeable weight: 51kg
After crating – chargeable weight: 75kg
Please allow 7 business days for crating services.
